About Majda

 MY ART STORY:

Born in a small country and shaped by years of travel for study and work, I bring a distinctive blend of personal experience and global perspective to my art. Early in my career, I explored a range of styles and techniques, drawing inspiration from artists such as da Vinci, Picasso, and Kandinsky. This exploration led to a series of works titled Interpretations, created in homage to their unique styles.

In 1999, I presented an exhibition in Singapore titled Farewell to Masters, marking a pivotal moment as I transitioned toward developing my own visual language. Since then, my focus has shifted to abstract forms, working with acrylics and mixed media on paper, canvas, and wood.

Abstraction offers me the freedom to express myself intuitively and allows my work to evolve organically. My art has become a space for emotional and creative exploration - a visual journey through personal experience, reflection, and transformation.
