Acrylic collage on canvas, size is 59x49 cm. It is available framed, size is 71x61 cm.
Here, I started with color rather than an idea. Layer after layer, mostly neutrals first, then brighter blues and greens, appeared on the canvas. I wasn't trying to decide where the painting was going, I simply responded to what was already there. At some point, I stopped directing the painting and let it take over. What surprised me was the light that emerged from all those layers.
