COLOR GEMS # 9

This collection grew out of my fascination with the way color holds weight, light, and emotion all at once. Each piece is painted in watercolor on paper, where flowing pigments overlap and collide to form gem-like shapes. I use bold black lines to ground the softness of watercolor, almost like facets catching light on a stone.

For me, these works feel like treasures found in an abstract landscape—fragments of memory, energy, and mood crystallized into color. They are my way of celebrating the richness of color itself, and how it can transform when shaped by contrast and form.
